The Laconia Spartans took control of the court early and never looked back, securing a 25-12, 25-8, 25-10 victory over the Ripon Tigers on Tuesday night. Kensley McCauley led the charge with a standout performance, recording 8 kills and 3 aces to keep the offense firing on all cylinders. Bailey Goebel was equally impactful for the visitors, contributing 7 kills, 2 blocks, and 11 assists in a well-rounded display of skill. Defensive efficiency and consistent setting kept the Tigers on their heels throughout the match. Gabby Pinno orchestrated the Spartan attack beautifully, tallying 21 assists along with 3 digs, while Kendyl Pluim added 5 kills and 5 digs to anchor the back row. Addison Grade also made her presence felt at the net by tallying 3 blocks, effectively shutting down any momentum the Tigers hoped to build. This lopsided win demonstrates the depth of the Laconia roster and their ability to dominate in all facets of the game. With multiple players contributing to the scoreboard and the defensive stat sheet, the Spartans proved too much for the home side to handle. They look to carry this high level of energy into their upcoming matches following a clinical performance in Ripon. --- BOX SCORE Laconia Spartans 3 | Ripon Tigers 0 Set 1: 25 — 12 Set 2: 25 — 8 Set 3: 25 — 10 Player Leaders Laconia Spartans: Mackenzi Pluim (3 Kills, 2 Blocks, 0 Aces, 0 Digs, 1 Assists); Josie Basler (0 Kills, 0 Blocks, 0 Aces, 4 Digs, 1 Assists); Gabby Pinno (0 Kills, 0 Blocks, 2 Aces, 3 Digs, 21 Assists); Finley Morgan (6 Kills, 0 Blocks, 2 Aces, 1 Digs, 0 Assists); Kendyl Pluim (5 Kills, 0 Blocks, 0 Aces, 5 Digs, 0 Assists); Hayden Johnson (2 Kills, 0 Blocks, 0 Aces, 0 Digs, 0 Assists); Scarlett Nitz (0 Kills, 0 Blocks, 1 Aces, 3 Digs, 0 Assists); Bailey Goebel (7 Kills, 2 Blocks, 1 Aces, 2 Digs, 11 Assists); Alaina Charneski (0 Kills, 0 Blocks, 0 Aces, 2 Digs, 0 Assists); Evelyn Kloetzke (1 Kills, 0 Blocks, 0 Aces, 0 Digs, 0 Assists); Addison Grade (4 Kills, 3 Blocks, 0 Aces, 0 Digs, 0 Assists); Kensley McCauley (8 Kills, 0 Blocks, 3 Aces, 1 Digs, 1 Assists)
