The Lomira Lions showcased a high-octane offensive display on Friday night, relying on a bruising ground game to dismantle the Omro defense. Hunter Schaumberg was the star of the show for the visitors, racking up 203 rushing yards and finding the end zone three times on 25 carries. Quarterback Keegan Kell was equally efficient, completing all five of his pass attempts and contributing two additional scores on the ground to keep the chains moving. The Lions' momentum was solidified by the reliable foot of Aiden Stoffel, who converted five extra-point attempts to pull away on the scoreboard. Despite the loss, Omro’s Ralph King put on an individual clinic, carrying the ball nine times for a staggering 243 yards and accounting for all three of his team's touchdowns. Eli Basiliere acted as a one-man wrecking crew on the defensive side of the ball for Omro, recording 13 tackles and five tackles for loss in a gritty effort. Ultimately, Lomira’s balanced attack and depth proved too much to overcome, securing the 41-22 win on the road. The Lions will look to carry this energy into their next matchup, while Omro aims to build around the explosive capabilities of their star backfield.
