The Winneconne Wolves kicked off their season in spectacular fashion on Thursday night, dismantling Omro High School with a comprehensive 42-0 performance. Quarterback Henry Chase stole the spotlight early, dissecting the Foxes' defense with surgical precision through the air and on the ground. Chase completed 13 of 20 passes for 213 yards and four touchdowns, while adding another 39 yards and a score on the ground to lead the offensive onslaught. Ryan Quigley served as the primary beneficiary of the aerial attack, hauling in four receptions for 99 yards and finding the end zone once. On the other side of the ball, the Wolves' defense remained impenetrable throughout the contest. Karsen White spearheaded the defensive effort with seven tackles, including a tackle for loss and a half-sack that kept the Omro offense consistently behind the chains. Despite the lopsided score, Omro’s Dylan La Kosh played with relentless heart, recording a team-high nine tackles in a valiant effort to slow the tide. Dimitri Penza provided a few bright spots for the Foxes' rushing game, tallying 15 yards on three carries, but Winneconne’s dominance was simply too much to overcome.
