Mayville Dominates Oriole Athletic Complex in Convincing Road Win

The Cardinals soared to a decisive 56-7 victory over North Fond du Lac in Thursday night's football clash.

By Staff Reporter|Friday, September 11, 2026
It was a night to forget for the North Fond du Lac Orioles as they struggled to contain a high-powered Mayville offense on their home turf. The Cardinals wasted no time establishing control, cruising to a massive 56-7 victory that left little doubt about which team held the edge. Joe Promersberger spearheaded the ground game with a blistering 154 rushing yards and a touchdown on just eight carries. Cooper Raddemann was equally efficient through the air, completing all three of his passes for 82 yards and two scores, while also contributing eight successful extra points. Despite the lopsided score, the Orioles showed flashes of offense through the arm of Wyatt Goldapske. Goldapske connected on 8 of 19 passes for 127 yards, including a highlight-reel 65-yard touchdown strike to Braydon Wojkiewicz. Jaden Vazquez-Mendoza added 32 yards on 14 carries, and Hudson Schumacher anchored the defense with a team-high eight tackles, though the Cardinal offense proved too difficult to stifle for long. Micaiah Twigg was the primary recipient of Mayville's aerial assault, pulling in two receptions for 46 yards and both of Raddemann’s touchdown passes. Defensively, Mayville maintained their intensity throughout the contest, led by Isaiah Gregor’s standout nine-tackle performance. The Cardinals executed their game plan with clinical precision, capitalizing on nearly every opportunity to stretch their lead throughout the four quarters. North Fond du Lac will look to regroup following this defeat as they move forward in their season. Meanwhile, Mayville walks away with a resounding win that serves as a statement to the rest of the conference.
