The Winnebago Lutheran Academy Vikings delivered a statement win on Friday night, defeating the Amherst Falcons 35-14 at Amherst High School. The 21-point margin underscored a balanced team effort that allowed the visitors to control the momentum from the opening kickoff. While the Falcons fought to find their rhythm, the Vikings proved too formidable on both sides of the ball in this early-season non-conference showdown. This victory provides Winnebago Lutheran Academy with significant early momentum as they look to position themselves as a major contender within their conference. For Amherst, the result serves as a challenging reality check that highlights areas for improvement as they prepare for the rest of their schedule. Both programs will now turn their focus toward refining their schemes and preparing for the high-stakes matchups that define the Wisconsin high school football season.
