The Laconia Spartans showcased their offensive firepower and defensive precision on Thursday night, securing a straight-set win over North Fond du Lac. From the opening serve, the Spartans established a rhythm that kept the Orioles on their heels, cruising through the first set with a 25-14 victory. The momentum remained entirely with the home squad as they dismantled the visiting defense to claim the second set by a comfortable 25-11 margin. North Fond du Lac fought to regain their footing in the final set, but the Spartans' balanced attack proved too formidable to overcome. Kensley McCauley paced the Spartan offense with 12 kills, while Bailey Goebel and Gabby Pinno orchestrated the playmaking with a combined 37 assists. The Spartan defensive front also held firm at the net, anchored by Addison Grade’s four blocks and solid contributions from Finley Morgan and Kendyl Pluim. Though the Orioles faced a difficult night against the well-oiled Spartan rotation, the match served as an important test of resilience for the program. The final set concluded at 25-13, finalizing the sweep and sending the home crowd happy. --- BOX SCORE North Fond du Lac High School 0 | Laconia Spartans 3 Set 1: North Fond du Lac High School 14, Laconia Spartans 25 Set 2: North Fond du Lac High School 11, Laconia Spartans 25 Set 3: North Fond du Lac High School 13, Laconia Spartans 25 Total Kills: North Fond du Lac High School N/A, Laconia Spartans 47 Total Assists: North Fond du Lac High School N/A, Laconia Spartans 37 Total Digs: North Fond du Lac High School N/A, Laconia Spartans 60 Total Blocks: North Fond du Lac High School N/A, Laconia Spartans 11
