Campbellsport set an aggressive tone early on Friday night, opening the game with a commanding 23-point first quarter to seize control. The Cougars leaned heavily on the explosive ground game of Sawyer Galligan, who electrified the crowd with 138 rushing yards and three touchdowns. While North Fond du Lac struggled to find footing early, they managed to spark their offense in the second quarter, highlighted by a sharp passing performance from Wyatt Goldapske, who finished with 157 yards and a touchdown strike to Braydon Wojkiewicz. The Cougars remained unrelenting through the middle frames, adding 14 points in the second and six in the third to keep the Orioles at bay. North Fond du Lac showcased grit in the trenches, led by a balanced defensive effort from Hudson Schumacher, Jaden Vazquez-Mendoza, Devin Ferguson, and Logan Haendel, who each recorded at least six tackles. Despite the defensive resistance, Campbellsport’s efficiency proved superior as quarterback Jackson Straub balanced the offense with two passing touchdowns and two additional scores on the ground. Both teams found the end zone once more in the final frame to close out the 50-14 contest. Jaden Vazquez-Mendoza served as a workhorse for the North Fond du Lac backfield, racking up 88 yards and one of the team's two rushing touchdowns. With this conference win, Campbellsport continues to make a statement in the standings, while the Orioles will look to integrate their passing attack and defensive consistency in their upcoming league matchups. --- BOX SCORE Campbellsport High School 50 | North Fond du Lac 14 1st Quarter: Campbellsport High School 23, North Fond du Lac 0 2nd Quarter: Campbellsport High School 14, North Fond du Lac 7 3rd Quarter: Campbellsport High School 6, North Fond du Lac 0 4th Quarter: Campbellsport High School 7, North Fond du Lac 7 Passing Leaders North Fond du Lac: Wyatt Goldapske (12/23 Cmp/Att, 157 Yds, 1 TD) Campbellsport High School: Jackson Straub (4/5 Cmp/Att, 93 Yds, 2 TD) Rushing Leaders North Fond du Lac: Jaden Vazquez-Mendoza (19 Car, 88 Yds, 1 TD); Wyatt Goldapske (1 Car, 4 Yds, 1 TD); Hudson Schumacher (1 Car, 3 Yds, 0 TD) Campbellsport High School: Sawyer Galligan (8 Car, 138 Yds, 3 TD); Carter Gellings (14 Car, 80 Yds, 1 TD); Chris Taddey (5 Car, 25 Yds, 0 TD); Trayton Renderman (3 Car, 16 Yds, 0 TD); Jackson Straub (5 Car, 13 Yds, 2 TD) Receiving Leaders North Fond du Lac: Braydon Wojkiewicz (5 Rec, 70 Yds, 1 TD); Mario Romo (4 Rec, 51 Yds, 0 TD); Jack Langolf (2 Rec, 32 Yds, 0 TD); Hudson Schumacher (1 Rec, 4 Yds, 0 TD) Campbellsport High School: Levi Bentz (1 Rec, 45 Yds, 1 TD); Quinten Cappozzo (2 Rec, 40 Yds, 0 TD); Cullan Flasch (1 Rec, 8 Yds, 0 TD) Defensive Leaders North Fond du Lac: Hudson Schumacher (7 Tkl, 0 FF, 0 FR, 0 INT); Jaden Vazquez-Mendoza (6 Tkl, 0 FF, 0 FR, 0 INT); Devin Ferguson (6 Tkl, 0 FF, 0 FR, 0 INT); Logan Haendel (6 Tkl, 0 FF, 0 FR, 0 INT); Jadel Morales (4 Tkl, 0 FF, 0 FR, 0 INT) Campbellsport High School: Cullan Flasch (6 Tkl, 0 FF, 0 FR, 0 INT); Chris Taddey (5 Tkl, 0 FF, 0 FR, 0 INT); Trayton Renderman (5 Tkl, 0 FF, 0 FR, 0 INT); Austin Grahl (5 Tkl, 0 FF, 0 FR, 0 INT); Elliot Fleischman (4 Tkl, 0 FF, 0 FR, 0 INT)
